Cadets
Cadets is a ministry for boys in 1st-8th grade. Cadets meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month (October-April) 6:30pm-8:00pm. Our motto is “Living for Jesus” and our goal is to minister to and nourish the boys in our community through Christ. Bible lessons are geared toward the choices these young men may need to make as they grow up. Craft projects, badge work, outings and camp-outs are some of the other activities the Cadets do throughout the Cadet season.
Catechism
Catechism classes are offered for middle school and high school students and meet Sunday mornings after the morning service 11:15am-12:00pm (September-May). The classes utilize the Heidelberg Catechism and the Belgic Confession and are designed to illustrate how the catechism helps us understand the truths of the scriptures and how we can apply those truths to our daily lives.
Children’s Worship
Children’s Worship meets on Sunday mornings during the 10:00am worship service (September-May). Children ages 3 through 2nd grade are welcome to attend. The children and leaders are dismissed during the morning worship service and worship together in the Children’s Worship Room. A time of worship for the children has been created from the traditional children in worship curriculum.
Church School
Church School is offered for children ages 4 through 5th grade and meets Sunday mornings after the morning service from 11:15am-12:00pm (September-May).
We currently use the curriculum “Character by God’s Design”. All the children are together listening to Bible stories, doing crafts and other activities.
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior)
GEMS is a ministry for girls in 1st-8th grade. GEMS meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month (October-April) 6:30pm-8:00pm. Our meetings consist of Bible lessons, badge work, games and crafts. We also typically have a service activity during the year and some other outings.
Nursery
Nursery is offered on Sunday mornings during the 9:30am worship service. Trained nursery staff are provided for their care from birth to age 3.
Youth Group
Youth Group is a ministry for high school students and they meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month (October-April) 6:30pm-8:00pm. This group seeks to be growing in their relationship with Jesus and with each other through discussion of topics that are especially pertinent to high school students, and through times of fun when we can share laughter and friendship in a safe environment.
